IRIS Consultant
Location: Milwaukee
Care Responsibilities: Meet with assigned participants to create and implement a Self-Directed Life Plan while following the policies and procedures of the Iris Program. Attend all mandatory weekly and monthly meetings/ trainings. Collaborate with other Iris Consultants whenever possible to discuss different resources for our participants. Offer coverage in the absence of other Iris Consultants, if available, to stay in compliance with Adovacates4u and DHS policies and procedures.
Educational Background: Milwaukee Area Technical College.
Specialties:I truly enjoy working with elderly and dementia patients. My background is with consistent hands-on experience caring for the elderly and disable, in every stage of their lives from companionship to total care for over 15 years. I also enjoy training and teaching others the proper way to care for the vulnerable clients in the community. I have managed an Adult Family Home and Assisted Living Facilities.

More about me: I come from a big family and very family oriented. I am married to my high school sweetheart, we been together for a little over 24 years and counting, we got married in 2006. We have six daughters, one grandson, and no pets. Once we can move into a home that would allow me to have pets, I would love to get a small dog for my younger kids. Currently, our younger daughters been active in a dance group that goes out to perform in the community for special events. It keeps us very busy and active in their lives.
