Care Responsibilities: As an IRIS Consultant Lead with Advocates4U, I oversee a caseload of thirty participants. I assist those participants in all self-direction aspects regarding managing their long-term care needs and building self-advocacy skills. As a Lead I oversee a group of IRIS Consultants and assist with training and fielding questions pertaining to their participants. I review aspects of those Consultant’s caseloads and hold monthly team meetings/trainings.

Specialties: I have worked with children and adults with varying degrees of mental, physical, cognitive, and social emotional disabilities in day service and school settings. I have also worked with the frail and aging population in their homes as a caregiver, and briefly with an AODA detox unit in a hospital setting.

More about me: I am a mom of three young children and love being a part of the activities that they take interest in. I am also currently a student at Loyola University Chicago in the Social Work/Applied Psychology program and plan to continue on to the MSW program after graduation. I love to cook, learn about other cultures/travel, and read in my spare time.
